The corporate world is full of many new and, often, exciting challenges. These challenges, however, can increase pressures on the employees of the corporation. If the employees are not fully recognized for the efforts that they put into the company to achieve its goals and objectives, they can quickly lose their motivation. Once their motivation drops, their productivity suffers.

Corporations employ wide range of motivational tactics to keep their employees satisfied and motivated, helping them to perform their jobs more effectively and more efficiently. Many companies are beginning to use corporate awards to help motivate and recognize their employees.

In addition to improving employee morale and overall job satisfaction, corporate awards can help companies in a number of other ways. By increasing employee motivation, these recognition awards ensure that employees are working at their maximum productivity, helping both them and the company realize their individual and corporate objectives. Corporate awards can also augment the company’s employee relations and public relations efforts, and, by recognizing employee achievements and contributions, significantly decrease attrition.

When planning a corporate recognition event, it is important to plan the event in a very holistic way – all the elements of the recognition event should fit together around a common theme. The corporate awards are a key part of this, and should definitely fit into the theme of the overall event. One way to ensure a coordinated event is to hire a professional event manager. Not only does this leverage the experience and expertise of a specialist, it also alleviates line workers and managers of the execution responsibility.

When selecting the appropriate awards, we encourage you to take a look at our unique, custom sculpture awards. These unique recognition awards are true pieces of art featuring excellent craftsmanship. These are the kind of corporate awards that anyone will feel proud to showcase in their home or office, so your employees will feel grateful to be a part of your organization. Employees will appreciate your recognition of the hard work and the skills that they have invested in your organization. Once your employees have received high-quality corporate awards, it will provide a major boost to your respect and goodwill.

These corporate awards can also feature personalized engravings and messages; for example, a recipient’s name, company logo, or corporate slogan or motto. In addition, the award designs can be customized per your needs through the development of custom corporate awards. For example, a custom award could be created in the shape of your company icon.

With a level of quality and beauty far exceeding that of common trophies and plaques, these corporate awards are a prized reward for the recipient. By selecting an award your employees will prize, you will help motivate and incent your employees to produce at their full potential.

One question we often get is about the finish/plating options available on our pewter sculpture awards. We are always happy to discuss this, as this is one of the special attributes of the unique recognition awards that we provide.

In most cases, there are three plating finish/options for our pewter sculpture awards. The first is a natural, brushed pewter finish. The second is a gleaming silver plating. The third is a rich gold plating. All of these options produce beautiful sculpture awards – the choice really boils down to what is most appropriate for the event or presentation. On the Recognition Awards and Sports Awards pages of our Bennett Awards website, you can see photos of different sculpture awards featuring each of these finish options.

Some of our unique awards feature a combination of plating options. For example, the sculpture award “Circle of Life” is often produced with a natural brushed pewter finish on its body, and silver plating on its head.

This finish and plating options also apply to our pewter custom awards. When you engage in a custom awards project with us, and the award medium is pewter, you can choose which plating option to incorporate into your custom awards design.

A person’s vision for something great is an inspiration that reaches many people, even more so if the vision is carried out. That dream can create meaningful changes that reach others lives and change them forever. An inspiration is a great gift that should be nurtured and cherished so that it can flourish.

The Vision recognition award distinguishes those who have had an inspiration or a vision and carried it out. The impressionistic figure sways as it reaches to the sky. The arms then turn in to the legs of another impressionistic figure, holding it up and reaching further into the sky. Bennett Award’s artist MK Shannon designed this rousing recognition award. It was created in pewter and it is available in one of three finished: natural pewter, silver plating, or gold and silver plating. The marble base can also be personalized.

For your next awards ceremony, or just because you want to, show someone your recognition by giving them the Vision award.

Custom awards are an ideal way to develop a recognition award that is unique and specific to an organization’s requirements and personality. Which off-the-shelf recognition awards can meet the needs of many events and organizations, sometimes presenting organizations want to infuse something unique and exclusive in the recognition awards that they present. In some cases this is a unique embodiment of something specific to the presenting organization – a logo, for example, in the case of corporate awards. In other cases, the custom awards may reflect the about the event or occasion for which it is being presented, or something germane and personal to the individual recipient.

There are many different options for creating custom awards. When people think about custom awards, they immediately think of new designs that are developed from the ground up for a specific need. While this is certainly one option for creating custom awards, there are a few other paths that can also yield recognition awards that are unique and customized to the needs of the customer. Four different options for creating custom awards are outlined below, moving from the least to most complex.

Option 1: Existing Designs with Custom Engravings

Any existing recognition award can be customized with a personalized engraving on its marble base. The client may want to specify the event name, the name of the recipient, the name of the award, the name (and perhaps logo) of the presenting organization, the presentation date, or a particularly applicable quote. This information, which is unique to the client, is engraved in the award’s black marble base using either a silver or gold filling.

These personalized engravings can be written in a number of different fonts, and organizations can even incorporate specific organizational logos on the marble base of the sculpture awards. Alternatively, another option is to affix engraved plaques to the bases of the custom awards. As above, these plaques can also contain information written in a variety of fonts and utilizing different logo designs.

Option 2: Existing Awards with Custom Elements

Some existing sculpture awards offer the ability to create custom elements that are incorporated in the award. Bennett Awards, for example, offers a number of different recognition awards designs that meet this requirement. One of our sculpture awards (Appreciation), for example, is a figure holding an object. This object, in turn, can be engraved with text or images of the customer’s choosing. The standard objects we stock are hearts, stars, and a child. However, we can easily create an object that is customized to the needs of a customer – a hammer, for example, for a construction company.

Option 3: Existing Designs Re-Sized with Custom Engravings

Sometimes just by modifying the size of existing sculpture awards organizations can create custom awards to match their requirements. As noted above, the marble base of these custom awards can be customized with personal engravings using a variety of font styles and graphic elements.

Option 4: New Custom Designs

If the customer desires a totally different and unique awards design, then a new, custom awards design can be created from scratch. The artists and account managers work on different raw ideas for the custom awards based on the customer’s requirements and inputs. The first step of this process is to develop rough sketches of the recognition awards design that can be discussed and modified with the customer. Once a sketch is selected, then an initial model is developed in either clay or wax. Again, this is reviewed and modified until it meets the customer requirements. Once the model is finalized, a mold is created, and the final custom awards are produced using this mold. The final step is to match this custom awards design with marble bases. As discussed above, these marble bases can then be personalized with custom engravings speaking to the unique nature of the event or recipient.

As you can see, “custom awards” can mean many different things, and there are a variety of options to choose from when creating custom awards. We work closely with customers to fully understand their needs, and help them select the right course of action to achieve the custom awards that they desire.
