Bennett Awards recently developed new custom awards for the St. Mark’s School in Southborough, Massachusetts. These custom awards, called the Distinguished Alumni/ae Awards, are presented on an annual basis to recognize the distinguished achievements of alumni/ae of St. Mark’s School. The recognition awards celebrate the achievements and contributions to society that been made by many of its graduates. The design for these custom awards was based on the St. Mark’s School logo, and features a lion with the wings of an eagle holding a book. These unique awards were created in bronze, and mounted on a black marble base with an engraving of the recipient’s name, recipient’s class, award name, award date, and the school logo and motto. The inaugural presentation of these custom awards was held March 27, 2009 at St. Mark’s School. The first recipients included New Jersey Governor Thomas H. Kean, noted poet Robert T.S. Lowell, renowned journalist Benjamin C. Bradlee and public television innovator John Jay Iselin. A video of the award presentation can be seen by clicking the following link: “St. Mark’s Distinguished Alumni/ae Awards”“. |
