Bennett Awards developed and produced new custom awards for the Rocky Mountain Federation of Mineralogical Societies (RMFMS). The RMFMS is a group of hobbyists that are interested in rocks, gems, minerals and fossils. The RMFMS is one of seven regional federations that are part of the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies (AFMS).

These custom awards were created to honor “best in class” mineral presentations. These prestigious, unique awards are presented annually to individuals or groups that have entered a case of specimens (rocks, gems, minerals, fossils) in a certain class of competition. These cases are judged against rules established by the AFMS. Presentations that achieve a score of greater than 90 out of 100 in a specific class of competition are eligible to win one of these unique custom awards. These recognition awards are presented at an awards banquet held each year at the Annual RMFMS Show. Typically, between 1 and 7 of these unique awards are presented each year.

The custom awards developed by Bennett Awards feature a gold panner knelling with a pan of gold. They are produced in pewter, and mounted on a white marble base. These custom awards can be viewed via the following link: “RMFMS Custom Awards”.

Unique, custom awards from Bennett Awards were presented at the renowned 5th annual Abu Dhabi Awards ceremony. These unique recognition awards were given to a group of nine extraordinary recipients during the Abu Dhabi Awards ceremony held February 14, 2010, at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. These exclusive, unique awards honor a select group of individuals who have contributed in building a great sense of community and social welfare within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Individuals are nominated through a process open to the public, and then the final award recipients are selected based on their deeds and actions.

The custom awards were personally presented by His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Price of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Recipients of these unique awards included His Excellency Mohammed Habroosh Al Suwaidi of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Isabelle Poonoosamy of the Rupublic of Mauritius, Ousha bint Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Suwaidi of the UAE, the late Hamouda bin Ali bin Ghamin bin Hamouda of the UAE, Manal Mahmoud Hamad of the Hashermite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Abdul Rahman Hassanein Makhlouf of the UAE, Saleh Al Ya’rabi of Oman, Latife Yunus Tabrizi of the Republic of Turkey, and the late Mahammed bin Rashid Al Tamimi of the UAE. Recognizing those of us who show that we care about others around us is important. When doing so, it shows that we are appreciative and grateful for their kind and loving hearts. It lets those who care know that we support their efforts and that their hard work and dedication to their passion is noticed by all.

The Heart of Gold recognition award is the award that symbolizes everything you can say about someone who is so caring. It features a figure who is a part of an open heart. This has many symbolic features to it and it is absolutely beautiful to look at.

The head of the figure is lowered so that it appears it is deeply concerned. The recipient of this one of a kind award should be willing to give with love and kindness. The Heart of Gold represents people have have a passion for the inner reward that they receive when they give so freely.

With everyone excited to see that the warm weather is making a comeback, it is time to start playing golf again. Many of us will begin to attend weekend tournaments and rounds of golf with our friends and family.

The National Parkinson Foundation chose a unique Bennett recognition award for its recent awards presentation that was part of its National Parkinson Foundation Gala for Hope 2010. This recognition award was given to the Medtronic Foundation in honor of their outstanding commitment to underserved communities. The Bennett recognition award “Succeed” was used for this prestigious award. This unique award was presented as part of the National Parkinson Foundation Gala for Hope 2010 held February 21, 2010, at the Manderin Hotel in Miami, Florida. This unique recognition award was accepted by David Etzwiler, Executive Director of the Medtronic Foundation. The recognition award was presented to Etzwiler by Joyce Oberdorf, President and CEO of the National Parkinson Foundation.

Since its inception more than 50 years ago, the National Parkinson Foundation has worked to address the unmet needs in Parkinson’s care and treatment. The Esteem recognition award is very symbolic.

It represents exactly what you see and so much more. The star figure represents many things. It shows that the recipient has star power, they can achieve anything. They are one of your best employees who has risen up to be the best that they can possibly be.

The idea of the star blasting upwards brings up the thought the recipient is moving up and excelling in their career or whatever they may be doing in their life.

If you put these two together it becomes the Esteem recognition award. This recognition award symbolizes the true star power that an individual possesses. It shows that an individual has done everything possible to push themselves to their limit so that nothing but the best is the outcome of their labor. Success is and can be very difficult to come by in today’s world. Success may even more difficult to come by when you are a woman for a multitude of reasons.

The Aspire recognition award is symbolic of a female success story. This beautiful award showcases a woman reaching up high to grasp at a star. This shows that the woman is reaching to her highest potential, her highest aspirations.

You can put this on your desk and admire its beauty and what it stands for for many years to come. But like many awards of this nature, you can’t take it with you everywhere you go. This award can be given to any woman young or old, accomplished or still growing. The Aspire recognition award shows that the recipient is passionate about her dreams of being successful. An example of one recipient is Oprah Winfrey. She received this from the city of San Francisco because of all of her aspirations of helping so many woman in the world.

Although you may not be Oprah, you can aspire to do great things in the world much like she has. If you know a woman who has the the goals and achievements of someone great, honor them with the Aspire recognition award.

Bennett Awards provided a distinctive recognition award that was presented at the 2010 NAACP Image Awards. The unique award “Legends 2000″ was presented to Lee Elder in honor of the 35th anniversary of his historic entry into the Masters Golf Tournament. This Bennett recognition award was presented to Elder at an awards reception and presentation held on February 25, 2010, at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The unique award was given to Elder as part of the 41st Annual NAACP Image Awards Celebrity Golf Challenge.

Lee Elder is an inspirational, trail-blazing American Golfer who became the first African-American to play in the prestigious Masters Golf Tournament (1975). He is well known for his accomplishments on the golf course, as well as his many contributions to charitable causes and his sustained efforts fighting racism.

The NAACP Image Awards is the nation’s premier event celebrating the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the arts, as well as those individuals or groups who promote social justice through their creative endeavors.

Awards designed and produced custom corporate awards for NuVasive, a medical device company focused in the design, development and marketing of products for the surgical treatment of spine disorders. Bennett Awards worked with NuVasive to develop a custom awards design in the shape of a large “bowl”, with a 3-D relief on the side shaped like a cheetah with flames. The cheetah and flame relief was based on the NuVasive corporate logo. These custom corporate awards are called the “Cheetah Awards”, and are presented to NuVasive’s Cheetah Award Winners, which are their employees of the year. Two custom corporate awards were created: one perpetual custom award, which is prominently displayed in the NuVasive corporate lobby, and one additional custom award, which will be passed between the Cheetah Award Winners. These unique corporate awards were initially presented on January 30, 2010, at the NuVasive Annual Meeting & Cheetah Ball, held in San Diego, California. Moving forward, these corporate awards will be presented each year to the Cheetah Award Winner, and the winner’s name will be etched in the marble base of the perpetual corporate award that is displayed at NuVasive.

These custom awards stand approximately 13” tall. The perpetual corporate award is mounted on a 9”x9”x9” black marble base. The base is inscribed with the company name, logo, and award name, and will include the name of each Cheetah Award Winner. The travelling corporate award is mounted on a 9”x3” black marble base. These unique awards are produced in pewter, and have a high-polished pewter finish.
