Taking matters into your hands can be a tough decision. This can be the last resort option and many people do not want this kind of pressure to be placed upon them. So for those of us in this world who step up and place matters into our hands, we have a very special and unique award called In Our Hands.

This award symbolizes the meaning of putting matters into your hands. The two hands convey the strength and the care it takes to make things happen. The item the hands are holding (your choice) is representative of what the individual or group of individuals is receiving the In Our Hands award for.

This award is designed and meant for those who have stepped up and taken matters into their own hands. This is great for groups or individuals. Often it seems as though the most important issues in the world go unnoticed such as social welfare, education and even business success. These are just a few examples that the In Our Hands recognition award would be perfect for.

If you are looking for an award that portrays caring and taking responsibility for matters, then the In Our Hands award is the award for you. Remember, the future is in our hands.

National PTA selected the Bennett Corporate Awards design “Lone Cypress” for a prestigious recognition award they recently presented. This unique awards design was used for National PTA’s Selena Sloan Butler Award, a recognition award that honors those who have successfully embraced – through word and deed – National PTA’s mission of ensuring that all children, “irrespective of creed, color, or condition,” gain the equal opportunities to education they deserve. These unique awards are named after Selena Sloan Butler, who was the founder of the National Congress of Colored Parents and Teachers. This organization was founded in 1926 and merged with National PTA in 1970.

This unique corporate awards design was presented to Narvie J. Harris (1916-2009) in memoriam. Ms. Harris was the last president of the Georgia Congress of Colored Parents and Teachers before it merged with National PTA, and was a school administrator in Georgia’s DeKalb County Schools for nearly 40 years. Accepting the recognition award on her behalf were her daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and grandson’s fiancée. The corporate awards design was presented by Lois Jean White, past president of National PTA.

This recognition awards presentation was conducted at the 114th Annual National PTA Convention and Exhibition, on June 12, 2010, in Memphis, Tennessee. The recognition awards presentation was part of the celebration of the 40th merger of the National Congress of Colored Parents and Teachers with National PTA. This was the inaugural Selena Sloan Butler Awards.

National PTA® comprises millions of families, students, teachers, administrators, and business and community leaders devoted to the educational success of children and the promotion of parent involvement in schools. PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit association that prides itself on being a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for public education. Membership in PTA is open to anyone who wants to be involved and make a difference for the education, health, and welfare of children and youth.

Achieving goals often takes a lot of work and usually more than one person; usually it takes a team of people who are willing to work together to achieve a common goal. It is for this reason that we have designed the All Stars recognition award.

The All Stars award is great for a group of individuals who have come together to make something special happen. They have put aside all differences and made many sacrifices. All of this is in the name of success. In order to achieve a common goal, this unique group must come together as a single unit and move forward towards their goal. Each individual must make contributions to the effort or nothing can ever come of their hard work.

This award is very simply done yet it has a lot of thought put into it. The stars represent the figures who are involved in the group. The stars seem to be moving in an upward position symbolizing the forward progress of the team. Also, all of the stars are connected which can symbolize the unity of the team as they work towards their goals.

The All Stars recognition award makes for a great corporate award whenever there is any teamwork involved so recognize your outstanding team today!

Sharing the same goals and ideas is important especially in the corporate world. Setting those high goals is important for any business to succeed and achieving them can mean greatness for many years to come. This is why we have created an award for those who are committed to achieving their goals; we call it Commitment.

The Commitment recognition award is one that has been designed by our very Tom Bennett. He designed this abstract piece so that it would reflect all that their is in being committed. Being committed to something, let alone a goal in business, is very hard. Our nature is to keep moving on to the next thing so that we may try as many things as possible. The best way to stay true to your goals is to have someone who shares the same goals as you do. This person(s) are there for the same reason as you are and to have their support can make all the difference in the world when it comes to achieving your goals.

The Commitment recognition award is designed to show that two separate entities share the same aspirations. Those aspirations are success and for those that succeed in accomplishing their goals, they deserve the Commitment award.

A custom awards design created by Bennett Awards was recently used as the championship trophy for a PGA Champions Tour Golf Tournament: the 2010 Principal Charity Classic. This golf tournament was held June 1-6 at the Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa. Nick Price won the event, and for his victory received a recognition award produced by Bennett Awards. This unique award was based on a custom awards design created by Bennett Awards. It was the second straight year that this custom awards design was used for this event. The custom awards design is highlighted by flowing abstract lines and planes that represent movement, flight and upward trajectory – analogous to the flight of a golf ball. A large golf ball sits at the top of this unique awards design. The base of the recognition awards features and engraved plate with the tournament name and logo.

This custom awards design was developed in conjunction with the organizers of the Principal Charity Classic. Bennett Awards worked with the event organizers to created a unique custom awards design that captured the essence of the tournament, and the grace and beauty inherent in the game of golf. A larger view of this custom awards design can be seen by clicking the following link: “Principal Charity Classic Custom Awards”.

Having people work harmoniously together is not something that is easy to achieve by any means. Getting that accomplished can take many days and many thousands of hours but once it is done, it can be a beautiful thing.

The Wildfire award was created to recognize those who have come together, with all of their differences, to make something great happen. This ability to work together is one that is learned over time but now that this has been accomplished great things will surely come.

People who receive this award should also show their ‘fiery’ passion for their work. They should be a ‘go-getter’ in every aspect of the word. They should be willing to go after what they want to achieve no matter what and not let anything hold them back. Someone like this is a great asset to any company and to anyone around them. They will be able to motivate others to have the same passion and visions in their eyes.

The Wildfire recognition award is an award for those who can not only work together as a group or team, but for those that dedicate themselves to what they love to do and for what they can achieve.
