The Pei Wei restaurant chain, a subsidiary of P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, selected Bennett Awards to design and produce a new set of custom corporate awards for the company. Pei Wei is a chain of quick-casual restaurants serving pan-Asian cuisine. Pei Wei wanted to create a new set of custom recognition awards to honor their partners opening Pei Wei restaurants in international locations. Pei Wei wanted the custom achievement award design to symbolize their business logo: a red running noodle. Bennett Awards artist Alice Bennett worked with Pei Wei to create a new custom corporate awards design based on this logo, and then produced corporate trophies in two sizes: 14” high, and 7” high. Both achievement trophies are cast in pewter. The 14” awards feature a brushed pewter finish, and the 7” awards feature a red-gloss finish the same color as Pei Wei’s company logo. Both sculpture awards are mounted on round black marble bases that feature customized engraving of the recipient name and Pei Wei corporate name.

Bennett Awards created a new custom corporate awards design for DrivingSales, the auto industry’s fastest-growing, most influential trade media property focused on delivering actionable profit-building information and business intelligence to auto retailers and industry professionals. Approximately, one in every four dealerships in the United States has a registered member in the DrivingSales community. This unique custom awards design was created for the DrivingSales Dealer Satisfaction Awards. These corporate recognition awards measure dealer satisfaction by allowing dealers to rate and review their vendors at DrivingSales.com Vendor Ratings, the industry’s only neutral, comprehensive vendor rating forum featuring real-time peer reviews and honest competitor comparisons. The awards also incorporate the results of the 2011 Vendor Ratings survey, which was deployed to nearly 18,000 dealerships nationwide. Custom corporate achievement awards were produced for the top 3 companies in each of 14 categories, including Call Management, Chat Products, CRM – Fixed Ops, CRM – Sales Dept., DMS Providers, ILM Systems, Inventory Pricing Tools, Mobile Sites, New Car Leads, Owner Marketing, SEM – PPC, SEO, Used Car Advertising, and Websites. These custom awards were presented to recipients at the third annual DrivingSales Dealer Satisfaction Awards Breakfast, held February 3, 2012, at the Bellagio Las Vegas. This recognition awards event was held in conjunction with the 2012 National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention & Expo. Bennett Awards worked closely with DrivingSales to create a new custom award design that reflected the energy and innovation behind the DrivingSales brand. The design was loosely based on the DrivingSales logotype, and featured a multi-layer “D” shaped image. The sculpture awards are cast in pewter, and feature a brushed pewter finish. These sculpture awards are mounted on black marble bases that feature customized engravings of the DrivingSales logo, award name, recipient name, and year of presentation. Comedian, actor and television host Bob Saget was a recent recipient of a unique Bennett custom recognition awards design. Saget, best known for his roles as Danny Tanner in Full House, the original host of America’s Funniest Home Videos, and future Ted Mosby on How I Met Your Mother, received the “Rodney Respect Award” at the UCLA Department of Neurosurgery Visionary Ball, held October 6, 2011 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The “Rodney Respect Award” is a unique Bennett achievement award that was established in honor and recognition of comedian Rodney Dangerfield. This recognition trophy is presented annually to a comedian who embodies Rodney Dangerfield’s professional legacy and devotion to making a difference in the lives of others. Past recipients of these custom recognition trophies include Jim Carey, Jay Leno, and Tim Allen. This custom awards design was created by Bennett Awards artist Keith Shannon, working in close collaboration with Joan Dangerfield. The unique awards design features a caricature figure of Rodney Dangerfield in one of his classic poses. This custom award is produced as a 12” bronze sculpture award, and mounted on a black marble base with customized engravings of the recipient name, award name, and UCLA Neurosurgery logo engraved into the base. A photo of the recognition award can be seen by clicking the following link: “Rodney Respect Award”. The Visionary Ball raises money to help advance neurosurgical research, education and patient care at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. The Rodney Respect Award is presented annually at this event. Rodney Dangerfield successfully underwent rare and difficult brain bypass surgery at the UCLA Medical Center in 2003 to improve brain blood flow impaired by blockage in his right carotid artery.
