Awards designed and produced custom corporate awards for NuVasive, a medical device company focused in the design, development and marketing of products for the surgical treatment of spine disorders. Bennett Awards worked with NuVasive to develop a custom awards design in the shape of a large “bowl”, with a 3-D relief on the side shaped like a cheetah with flames. The cheetah and flame relief was based on the NuVasive corporate logo. These custom corporate awards are called the “Cheetah Awards”, and are presented to NuVasive’s Cheetah Award Winners, which are their employees of the year. Two custom corporate awards were created: one perpetual custom award, which is prominently displayed in the NuVasive corporate lobby, and one additional custom award, which will be passed between the Cheetah Award Winners. These unique corporate awards were initially presented on January 30, 2010, at the NuVasive Annual Meeting & Cheetah Ball, held in San Diego, California. Moving forward, these corporate awards will be presented each year to the Cheetah Award Winner, and the winner’s name will be etched in the marble base of the perpetual corporate award that is displayed at NuVasive.

These custom awards stand approximately 13” tall. The perpetual corporate award is mounted on a 9”x9”x9” black marble base. The base is inscribed with the company name, logo, and award name, and will include the name of each Cheetah Award Winner. The travelling corporate award is mounted on a 9”x3” black marble base. These unique awards are produced in pewter, and have a high-polished pewter finish. A closer view of these unique custom corporate awards can be seen by clicking the following link: "NuVasive Cheetah Corporate Awards".

Creativity and originality are hard to come by these days but is a must in order to thrive in any situation. The Amadeus recognition award is the award that symbolizes these characteristics.

The Amadeus is great for those who are involved in the music world but is truly a great award for anyone who has shown that they can be creative. It is perfect for someone who shows that they can put their personal stamp on something.

The Amadeus recognition award is an abstract design by Bob Bennett and is made to closely resemble a musical note. The design, however, is meant to take a musical note and make it its own note. This is why it is so great for someone with a creative thought process.

So, whether it is for a musical ceremony or in a corporate setting, whatever the occasion may be, the Amadeus recognition award is a perfect award for those who are being celebrated for their extreme creativity and their pursuit to be different.

Bennett Awards recently completed unique custom awards for the Honda Grand Prix St. Petersburg. This IndyCar race, held April 5, 2009, was the first race of the 2009 IndyCar series. Bennett Awards worked with the organizers of this event to design and develop custom awards based on the race’s logo, which features a palm tree and Indy Car. The design for these custom awards was created by Bennett Awards artist MK Shannon. This unique awards design featured a palm tree and plaque featuring the race’s logo attached to the lower base of the trunk, which was designed to look like a race track. A plaque with the name of the race and finish was attached to the award’s black marble base.

12 custom sculpture awards were created in total, spanning three different sizes: 11”, 10” and 8”. Awards were given to the top 3 finishers (drivers) in the race, along with the car owners. Custom awards based on this same design were also provided to the winners of the IndyCar Lights race. The design of these unique custom awards can be seen by clicking the following link: "Honda Grand Prix" Custom Awards

They wanted unique, custom awards that created a lasting image and embodied their brand image. They also wanted these custom recognition awards to prominently honor the recipients. Bennett Awards worked with the Zyrtec team to design unique custom awards that met these objectives. The custom sculpture awards we developed were based on the Zyrtec logotype, sculpted in gold-plated pewter, then wrapped around a crystal ball. The crystal balls were engraved with the name and logo of the award recipient, ensuring their brands were prominently featured. Philosophy, a well known lifestyle brand that provides personal care products, recently set out to revise the service awards that they present to employees. These awards are presented at 5, 10 and 15 year intervals. Prior to engaging with Bennett Awards, they had used Waterford Crystal or cash as their service awards, depending on the length of service. They wanted to change this, however, to something that was more reflective of their culture and brand. Bennett Awards worked collaboratively with Philosophy to develop a unique custom awards design that embodied the essence of their company and culture.

The Philosophy custom awards that were created incorporate a pewter sculpture of their logotype wrapped around a crystal globe. Different sizes of crystal globes are used for different service awards, and each crystal globe is inscribed with the award recipient’s length of service. These custom awards are mounted on a black marble base that is inscribed with Philosophy’s corporate tagline “Believe in Miracles”. When you purchase our unique bronze sculpture awards, there are two types of finishes you will find on the exterior of the award. One is a rich, gleaming, high-polish finish. For this finish, the surfaces of the sculpture awards are buffed and polished using high-powered tools to achieve a sparkling, shiny finish.

As an additional service we provide for our bronze sculpture awards, we are able to coat the exterior of the awards with a clear coating that preserves the sheen of the bronze finish over time.

The second type of finish you will find on our bronze sculpture awards is a patina finish. Patination is a process used to create color on the surface of our bronze awards. Patination involves applying chemicals and heat to the bronze to achieve different colors and textures. A variety of different looks can be produced via patina.

Both of these options are also available when you commission bronze custom awards with Bennett Awards. We will work closely with you to outline the choices that make the most sense for your particular custom awards design.

One question we often get is about the finish/plating options available on our pewter sculpture awards. We are always happy to discuss this, as this is one of the special attributes of the unique recognition awards that we provide.

In most cases, there are three plating finish/options for our pewter sculpture awards. The first is a natural, brushed pewter finish. The second is a gleaming silver plating. The third is a rich gold plating. All of these options produce beautiful sculpture awards – the choice really boils down to what is most appropriate for the event or presentation. On the Recognition Awards and Sports Awards pages of our Bennett Awards website, you can see photos of different sculpture awards featuring each of these finish options.

Some of our unique awards feature a combination of plating options. For example, the sculpture award “Circle of Life” is often produced with a natural brushed pewter finish on its body, and silver plating on its head.

This finish and plating options also apply to our pewter custom awards. When you engage in a custom awards project with us, and the award medium is pewter, you can choose which plating option to incorporate into your custom awards design.

Custom awards are an ideal way to develop a recognition award that is unique and specific to an organization’s requirements and personality. Which off-the-shelf recognition awards can meet the needs of many events and organizations, sometimes presenting organizations want to infuse something unique and exclusive in the recognition awards that they present. In some cases this is a unique embodiment of something specific to the presenting organization – a logo, for example, in the case of corporate awards. In other cases, the custom awards may reflect the about the event or occasion for which it is being presented, or something germane and personal to the individual recipient.

There are many different options for creating custom awards. When people think about custom awards, they immediately think of new designs that are developed from the ground up for a specific need. While this is certainly one option for creating custom awards, there are a few other paths that can also yield recognition awards that are unique and customized to the needs of the customer. Four different options for creating custom awards are outlined below, moving from the least to most complex.

Option 1: Existing Designs with Custom Engravings

Any existing recognition award can be customized with a personalized engraving on its marble base. The client may want to specify the event name, the name of the recipient, the name of the award, the name (and perhaps logo) of the presenting organization, the presentation date, or a particularly applicable quote. This information, which is unique to the client, is engraved in the award’s black marble base using either a silver or gold filling.

These personalized engravings can be written in a number of different fonts, and organizations can even incorporate specific organizational logos on the marble base of the sculpture awards. Alternatively, another option is to affix engraved plaques to the bases of the custom awards. As above, these plaques can also contain information written in a variety of fonts and utilizing different logo designs.

Option 2: Existing Awards with Custom Elements

Some existing sculpture awards offer the ability to create custom elements that are incorporated in the award. Bennett Awards, for example, offers a number of different recognition awards designs that meet this requirement. One of our sculpture awards (Appreciation), for example, is a figure holding an object. This object, in turn, can be engraved with text or images of the customer’s choosing. The standard objects we stock are hearts, stars, and a child. However, we can easily create an object that is customized to the needs of a customer – a hammer, for example, for a construction company.

Option 3: Existing Designs Re-Sized with Custom Engravings

Sometimes just by modifying the size of existing sculpture awards organizations can create custom awards to match their requirements. As noted above, the marble base of these custom awards can be customized with personal engravings using a variety of font styles and graphic elements.

Option 4: New Custom Designs

If the customer desires a totally different and unique awards design, then a new, custom awards design can be created from scratch. The artists and account managers work on different raw ideas for the custom awards based on the customer’s requirements and inputs. The first step of this process is to develop rough sketches of the recognition awards design that can be discussed and modified with the customer. Once a sketch is selected, then an initial model is developed in either clay or wax. Again, this is reviewed and modified until it meets the customer requirements. Once the model is finalized, a mold is created, and the final custom awards are produced using this mold. The final step is to match this custom awards design with marble bases. As discussed above, these marble bases can then be personalized with custom engravings speaking to the unique nature of the event or recipient.

As you can see, “custom awards” can mean many different things, and there are a variety of options to choose from when creating custom awards. We work closely with customers to fully understand their needs, and help them select the right course of action to achieve the custom awards that they desire.

Reality shows seem to be the "in" thing as of late. The past few years, American Idol has done a segment when the Idols give back. In this special, the contestants of American Idol works with the community to raise money, deliver food and products, providing medical care, and teaching life and literacy skills. They work with the disadvantaged areas in the country. This special that American Idol runs won the show the "Brilliant" Sculpture Award by the National Association of Television Program Executives. The award ceremony is called the Reality Innovators and they award the shows most giving and helpful to the community. Rick Feldman, the NAPTE President and CEO, presented the Bennett Award to Nigel Lythgoe, the executive producer, who accepted the award on behalf of American Idol's producers.

The award that BennettAwards.net created for the NATPE is of a star that exquisitely hangs over the side of the base. Bennett Award’s artist MK Shannon designed the unique sculpture award that depicts leadership and extraordinary passion. They had the base engraved and personalized for American Idol. For any awards ceremony, BennettAwards.net will create a perfect award for the occasion.

Presenting recognition awards is one of the best ways to recognize and visibly applaud the performance or accomplishments of a recipient, whether they have achieved this in a corporate environment, non-profit organization, or sporting event. If your objective is to recognize a unique performance, contribution or achievement, why settle for a run-of-the-mill trophy or plaque? Instead, match the unique achievement with a unique award. By presenting truly unique awards for these occasions, you show recognition for, and appreciation of, the unique nature of the achievements. Not only do these unique awards memorialize the recipients and their accomplishments, they can also boost the morale of the entire organization by sending an important signal that you notice and appreciate everyone’s efforts.

These are a variety of unique awards available in the market. These awards span a number of different price points and award categories, including individual achievement awards, group recognition awards, corporate awards, and sporting event awards. Event-specific unique awards can also be created that are tailored and customized to that specific event.

One type of unique award that is becoming increasingly popular is sculpture awards. These awards are generally created in one of two types of metal: bronze and pewter. The bronze sculpture awards are sometimes available in a high polished finish, although many have coloration on their surface that is called “patina”. Pewter sculpture awards can be ordered in a natural pewter finish, or with gold or silver plating.

Unique awards can differ across a number of different dimensions, including material, size, finish and price. Award customers must balance all these dimensions when choosing unique awards that are appropriate for their event or presentation. This selection should comprehend the image of the organization, the purpose of the recognition award, and the personality of the recipients. When the right selection is made, recipients receive appropriately unique awards that they feel proud to showcase in their homes or offices.

Most of these unique awards are made out of bronze, and their outer surfaces are either polished to a smooth, gleaming bronze finish, or given a textured look using patina. Many awards incorporate both methods. Sculpture awards are also available in a pewter material. There are three primary finish options for these awards: a natural pewter finish, silver plating or gold plating. Some of the unique pewter sculpture awards utilize all of these finishes.

The choice of material used for these sculpture awards also impacts their price. Bronze is a richer, heavier metal that translates into higher sculpture award prices. Pewter is a softer metal that usually results in lower-priced sculpture awards.

In support of these objectives, we offer a broad selection of pre-made sculpture awards that can be matched to your needs and requirements. We also provide custom awards that are designed from the ground up with your specific requirements in mind. In either case, the resulting award is something truly unique that will enhance the image and integrity of your presentation.

One of our unique capabilities is our specialty in creating unique, custom awards that are designed specific to our customers’ needs. Since each organization is unique, with its own values, personality, and brand image, it is not surprising that many of these organizations want unique awards that are tailored to their unique characteristics. Unlike off-the-shelf recognition awards, which may or may not meet the needs of customers, organizations can be sure that custom awards designed to their requirements totally fulfill their award objectives.

When we create custom awards, part of the unique tailoring is defined by the subject matter of the award. In some cases, an organization may want recognition awards that signify a specific object or theme. For example, we created sculpture awards for Diageo, the owner of the Johnny Walker brand, in the shape of the famous Johnny Walker striding man. When we created a custom sculpture award for Netflix’s “Popcorn” Award, we based it on a popcorn bowl, or course.

Beyond the subject matter, however, organizations differ in the style of custom awards they want. This style needs to reflect the personality and image of the organization, event, or award purpose. Roughly speaking, there are three categories of custom sculpture awards we can create: 1) realistic awards, that are scale-appropriate reproductions of the image being represented; 2) impressionistic awards, that are more stylistic representations of the object or theme being conveyed; and 3) abstract awards, that are abstract designs that use the general theme of the award as inspiration.

All of these custom award options can deliver beautiful, incredible sculpture awards – there is never a single “right” approach. We are fortunate enough to work with a set of artists who specialize in these various categories of custom awards. Some specialize in realistic recognition awards, others in impressionistic recognition awards, and still others in abstract recognition award designs. When we determine what our customer’s specific needs are, and the style of custom awards that will best meet these needs, we can match their unique project with an artist that specializes in that specific style. We don’t have to adopt a “one size fits all” philosophy. We can ensure that our customers receive the best possible match and expertise for their specific custom awards project.

This unique artist/customer pairing also results in unique custom awards that stand apart from anything else on the market. The customer provides the specifications and inspiration behind the sculpture award design, while the sculpture award artist infuses the design with their unique talent, ideas and artistic aesthetic. These unique combinations yield wildly diverse award designs that truly reflect the unique nature and persona of each organization or event.

As a finishing touch, all of the custom awards can be mounted on beautiful marble bases, which can have personalized engraving or etched plates that provide an additional level of customization to the customer. These engravings can include the name of the event, recipient, presenting organization, special quote or motto, and can even incorporate graphic elements like organizational logos. This ensures “top-to-bottom” customization for these unique custom awards.

Are you looking for custom awards that are absolutely perfect for any occasion, including corporate recognition, individual accomplishments, sporting achievements, or philanthropic service? Then your hunt for the most unique, highest quality awards starts and ends with custom awards. Custom awards are classic, timeless pieces of art that capture and memorialize the essence of your special presentation, and create a lasting, personalized icon for you recipients that will forever remind them of their recognition.

Custom awards are not like common trophies or plaques that will end up in someone’s drawers. These unique awards are finely showcased as mementos that will stand the test of time and make the recipient recall and relive those vibrant, colorful and unforgettable moments of their life.

These unique sculpture awards also help to enhance the integrity and image of the presentation and event. The custom awards are special and beautiful pieces of art that can be proudly displayed by the recipients on the shelves of their homes or offices.

One of the best parts of custom awards is that they cater to the needs and requirements of a broad range of customers. They can be customized for the event, the recipient, the presenting organization, or some combination thereof. One of the primary ways to personalize these unique awards is through the use of personalized engravings upon their marble bases. The can also be customized through the choice of finishes – for example, many awards are available in pewter, gold or silver plating.

These custom awards can be easily customized along a number of different dimensions, including design, size, material, and finish. Organizations can choose the style and design that best fit their needs as well as their tastes.

Custom awards are a totally unique and visible way to highlight the achievements of their recipients. As described above, their marble bases can include personalized engravings incorporating information such as presentation date, recipient name, or the name of the presenting organization. Also, these custom engravings can use many different font styles, and include graphics such as organizational logos.

Another way to customize these recognition awards is to re-size designs to meet the unique requirements of the customers. A customer, for example, may want to create a large custom award as a perpetual award, and smaller custom awards using the same award design to present to recipients on a regular basis.

The basic steps that are followed to create custom awards include the following:

• First, customers provide details about their specific event, recipients and requirements. Based on this, an appropriate award artist is selected to develop the award design.

• Next, the artist creates sketches of different sculpture awards designs. These are reviewed with the client, then revamped until a final sketch (design) is selected.

• Once a design direction has been selected, a model is fabricated using wax or clay. This enables the customer to get a true, three-dimensional view into the design. This model is iterated on until the customer is fully satisfied.

• Once the model is approved by the customer, a mold is created, and the custom awards are produced – usually out of pewter or bronze.

• Finally, a base is selected for the custom awards. In addition, the custom can select personalized engravings that are etched into the bases of the sculpture awards.

Throughout the whole process, the customer’s feedback incorporated to ensure the most desirable outcome.

If these custom awards sound like something that can benefit your organization, definitely check them out on the Internet. You can use these beautiful, timeless pieces of arts as a unique, lasting method of recognition and reward.

On October 23, Bennett Awards unveiled a new monumental custom sculpture award at the BloodSource's new headquarters and laboratories, located in Sacramento, California. The 6' custom sculpture award, located in the front of the BloodSource's headquarters, was based on a design representing BloodSource's corporate logo. The sculpture award was unveiled as part of BloodSource's commeration of this new location.

This custom awards design was created by Bennett Awards artist Tom Bennett. Smaller versions of this same design have also been used as a set of custom awards that BloodSource has presented in the past. In addition, a smaller replica of the sculpture award was presented to one of the project's major donors.

This project is a good example of the synergistic use of multiple award variations based on the same custom awards design. Organizations can create a large custom awards design for a specific purpose (in this case, as a monumental sculpture for their building), then smaller versions of the custom awards for broader distribution. Another example of this same concept would be to create a large custom award for a "grand prize", or perpetual trophy, then smaller custom awards based on the same design for a more general distribution.

We have experience working on these unique sculpture "award families", and would love to talk to you, our customers, about how this might work for your organization!

All of these custom award options can deliver beautiful, incredible sculpture awards. We are fortunate enough to work with a set of artists who specialize in these various categories of custom awards. Some specialize in realistic custom awards, others in impressionistic custom awards, and still others in abstract custom award designs.

It has been a busy and rewarding week at Bennett Awards! Earlier this week, I blogged about the custom awards that we created for Elle Magazine’s Women in Hollywood awards, where unique, custom awards created by us were given to Jane Fonda, Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry, Sigourney Weaver, Salma Hayak, Anne Hathaway, Isla Fisher and director Catherine Hardwicke.

Also this week, another custom award that we created was presented to two movie watchers who set a new Guinness World Record for the most continuous hours spent watching movies. We created the custom award for Netflix, which sponsored the Netflix Movie Watching World Championship: The Quest for the Popcorn Bowl. The event was held in New York City’s Times Square. It began October 7, and concluded after the two winners had watched 123 hours and 10 minutes of continuous movies.

The Popcorn Bowl Award was a custom award that we created that featured a large bowl of popcorn at the top of a tall base and pedestal. The award's base was engraved with the Netflix logo and the name of the achievement. We will soon be adding this custom award to our news blurbs, and even posting a photo of the winners hoisting the award!

Last night - Monday, October 6 - some of the world's most recognized women gathering to be honored for their contributions to Hollywood. The world's largest fashion magazine, Elle Magazine, hosted their 15th annual "Women in Hollywood" awards in Los Angeles at the Four Seasons Hotel. Why is this in this blog? Because, we are proud to announce, they received custom awards designed by Bennett Awards! Eight women received these Bennett custom awards for their profound and positive impact on the film industry. The Bennett Award recipients included Jane Fonda, Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry, Sigourney Weaver, Salma Hayak, Anne Hathaway, Isla Fisher and director Catherine Hardwicke. It is very exciting to see our unique awards used to recognize such well-known and respected individuals, and it points towards the quality, beauty and uniqueness of our sculpture awards. However, we get just as much satisfaction working with individuals, small companies and non-profit organizations on their recognition awards - we truely enjoy delighting all of our awards customers and recipients, no matter how well known (or not!) they might be.

One of the things that our customers find most appealing about our unique awards are the fact that they are hand-crafted awards created by true artists. So many of the awards on the market are mass produced, and, just by looking at them, you can tell they don't have that special thought or care that goes into the award design and production process.

We are proud of the fact that all of our awards are based on the inspiration and talents of our stable of extraordinary artists. They approach each new award they create as a true work of art. In fact, many of our unique recognition awards were sculptures first, then were offered as part of our awards inventory. Many of the recognition awards that you see in our website on online catalog, in fact, are still purchased as pieces of art by our collectors.

When we engage in a custom awards design process, the inspiration is a little different - our award artists are designing an award to meet the specific needs of a customer. However, they still approach each custom awards project as if it were the creation of a true piece of art - a sculpture that will stand the test of time. Because their name will always be associated with it, they ensure that it captures the best possible work that they can do.

Our unique approach to awards has really seemed to strike a chord. Our customer recognize the unique beauty inherent in all of the sculpture awards that we produce. We continuously get positive comments from customers who are amazed and delighted by the beauty and quality of the awards. We have posted some of the positive feedback we've received on our website at the following link: Customer Testimonials.

We often get questions about how our unique recognition awards are created. Bronze and pewter sculpture awards each have a slightly different manufacturing process. In this blog, we will describe the PEWTER award production process. In a future blog, we will describe the BRONZE award production process.

All of our pewter sculpture awards - whether they be custom awards or recognition awards that are already in our awards inventory - following the same basic process of production. First, an original model of the award is sculpted (designed) out of clay or wax. In the case of custom awards, this model is created per the customer's specifications. For our existing inventory of recognition awards, the design is solely based on the inspiration of the award artist.

Once a model is created, a mold is made. A soft, almost liquid-like rubber is coated on the outside of the model. This rubber model is then "vulcanized", which makes the rubber hard and permanent, yet still pliable. The award model is then removed from the mold, and now the mold contains a cavity that is exactly the same dimensions as the original model.

Next, pewter is heated in a furnace until it becomes liquid. This normally occurs at about 380degF. The metal is heated beyond this, usually to a temperature of between 500degF and 800degF, depending on the size of the sculpture award. Once the metal reaches the target temperature, is is poured into the cavity of the mold. A centrifugal casting machine spins the mold while the metal is poured, ensuring the pewter flows into all of the nooks and crannies of the cavity.

Once the metal cools, it hardens into the shape of the cavity (the same shape as the original award model). The mold is now removed from the metal casting. Next, the sculpture award is trimmed of any excess metal, then buffed and polished. If it is a plated award, then either silver or gold plating is applied. Once the sculpture award has been prepared, it is mounted on a marble based (usually engraved with an inscription of the customer's choice), then it is complete!

These beautiful, unique awards are created at foundries that specialize in fine art casting processes. These processes take skill and years of experience, and the people involved are true artisans. We are proud to work with some of the finest foundries in the world, and they play an integral role in creating the incredible sculpture awards that we offer.

We get many, many requests for custom awards; in fact, it is one of our specialties. When someone asks for “custom awards”, they generally want awards that are tailored to their needs: custom recognition awards, for example, that are specific to an individual, or custom corporate awards that are geared towards a company.
It helps to understand, however, that there are many different options for creating custom awards. The most tailored approach is to commission a new custom awards design that is totally unique and targeted to your needs. This path involves having one of our award artists create a brand new design based on your requirements and specifications. Many different things can drive the design of these custom awards; for example, corporate logos in the case of custom corporate awards, or symbolic icons in the case of custom personal recognition awards. While these types of custom awards offer the most flexibility in terms of meeting specific needs, they do take a bit longer, as creative design, modeling, and mold making need to be done prior to beginning production of these custom awards.

A second option is simply to personalize one of our existing, pre-made awards with custom engravings. These engravings can be etched into the marble base of the award, or a personalized metal plate with an inscription can be affixed to the base. This method takes on existing award from our design inventory and “customizes” it through the personalized engraving. While this path does not provide as specific of a tailoring as the custom awards design described above, it is faster and, in most cases, less costly.

A third option lies somewhere between the two above. Some of our sculpture awards enable the ability to customize a specific part of the award. For example, our “Appreciation” and “Grand Appreciation” recognition awards both feature a figure holding an object. This object can be inscribed with a saying or image, such as a logo. Our standard object for these two awards is a star; however, customers can commission a special object to sit in the arms of the sculpture award. A construction company award, for example, might utilize a hammer, or a teacher recognition award might employ a book or an apple.

In any of these cases, you can be assured that your award will speak to the unique nature of your presentation or event. We have years and years of experience working with customers to help them find the perfect custom awards for their needs, and we would love to work with you in this quest as well!

An award can be given for many reasons. But the purpose is to recognize the person receiving the award for some act that they have accomplished that is deemed commendable. Giving an award does not always have to be so elaborate and prestigious. If you consider it more as a reward, perhaps this will provide a clearer picture. You give rewards all the time. A simple pat on the back is a reward.

If you know someone, such as your boss, who you feel is doing a spectacular job and they need to be recognized, then perhaps you should provide them with the Golf Pen Holder. It is a simple design in the theme of golf that is functional in that it will hold a handsome pen; perfect for furnishing on the desk at work. With the Golf Pen Holder, the recipient will be proud to show off this attractive award.

Reward a person you know. It does not have to be extravagant, but let them know you noticed what a wonderful job they have done.

Organizations that focus themselves on a noble cause, or for the betterment of others, provide a good reason to recognize the founder and others that are associated with that organization. It takes generous compassion and a steady mind to create and guide such an organization, and those individuals should be recognized and honored. Being acknowledged in such a fashion will help others within or around the organization take note of their actions, and hopefully they will be motivated to take positive actions themselves.

Even those with the kindest of hearts and motivation to enlighten thousands need a little nudge of encouragement. Having custom awards designed in their honor could be a postive reinforcement that helps them continue in their journey for the good of others. Our design team will work directly with you to create your custom awards, starting first with rough sketches of your ideas, then moving on to physical draft models of the creation. With your guidance and approval, the design will be created as a physical award. Eventually when the final award is finished, you will be given the opportunity to have it personalized however you see fit. You may include the organization’s name as well as the individual being awarded. A small inscription with the date of the award would also be suitable. The engraving will include either gold or silver fill and you may chose just about any type of font to perfect the award.

Recognize those who are working for the good of others. It is not an easy task, and it is one that needs to be applauded.

Hello again! We've recently been contacted with quite a few questions about our custom awards. One of the things that distinguishes Bennett Awards from other corporate award companies is that not only do we offer hundreds of existing sculpture awards designs to choose from and customize according to our client's needs, but in addition, we also offer the option of starting completely from scratch with the client to design and create custom awards that are completely exclusive and unique for each particular company or individual. So, hypothetically, if someone wanted their very own personalized sculpture designed and created specifically by his or her self, for his or her self, we could make it happen. In reality, most of the custom awards we design are not the initials or thumbprints of any one single individual, usually being duplicated for larger numbers as corporate awards or recognition awards, but anything is possible!

To give you a clearer picture of what we mean when we say "custom awards," we thought we would give you a look at the process that each award goes through, from concept to creation to custom awards.

Step 1: Customer Concept
-When a customer contacts us, the first thing we do is sit down one-on-one with them to find out just what exactly they are looking for. Usually, if the client does not have already have an exact logo or image to be replicated in sculpture form, they have an at least somewhat-clear picture of the sort of award they are looking for. Combining their ideas and preferences with our own suggestions and fine tuning, the result is a basic description of the future sculpture award, and a foundation for which the rest of the process can begin.

Step 2: Match to Artist
-Bennett Awards has selected a small group of artists whose work we believe meets the quality and standards that our customers are looking for. While each of our talented artists has diverse range of experience and artistry, each also has a distinct artistic style that they specialize in. Using the description formulated in the initial meeting, we match the client's concept to the artist who we believe would best be able to execute exactly what the client is looking for.

Step 3: Initial Sketches
-The artist selected will draw up a series of rough "blueprint" sketches that will illustrate the various translations of the proposed award. The client will have a chance to review the different versions and make any changes necessary to better fit their particular needs or preferences.

Step 4: Select Design Direction
-After looking over the sketches, the client will select which general direction they would like to take with their award.

Step 5: Construct Rough Model
-The artist will create the first three-dimensional draft of the design. Again, the client will review the model and make any necessary changes until they are certain the award is turning into exactly what they had originally envisioned.

Step 6: Finalize Model
-The artist and the client will collaborate one last time to make any small remaining changes, until they finally agree on the model that will become their custom awards.

Step 7: Create Mold
-The finalized model will be sent to our art foundry and the mold will be created.

Step 8: Cast Pieces
-The appropriate number of pieces will be cast from the mold and assembled onto their marble bases.

Step 9: Finalize Engraving
-The exact engraving will be finalized, and each piece will receive it's engraving plate with the selected and reviewed engraving.

Step 10: Receive Your Custom Awards!
-We will carefully package each of your awards and ship them to you as soon as necessary. We guarantee that you will be satisfied and pleased.

It is an adventurous and exciting process to create your very own award, made perfectly and exclusively according to your exact preference. But no matter how enjoyable it will be to create a piece of art, it won't even compare to the end result, for as our satisfied customers will reiterate for you, there is truly nothing like holding that sculpture award in your hands and getting to take in it's beauty, uniqueness, and impeccable high quality for yourself.
